The next few news stories caused me to think Really? Really America? REALLY, this is how we are going to act?
Muffin top joined the lexicon years ago. Now, it is among the newest words recognized by the Oxford English Dictionary. The self-proclaimed “last word on words” defines muffin top as the top part of a muffin, as well as, “a protuberance of flesh above the waistband of a tight pair of trousers.”
REALLY OXFORD DICTIONARY, you are adding in this word? Way to go, I am so glad that we are increasing our vocabulary with words about being FAT. REALLY?

General Electric earned $14.2 billion last year — $5.1 billion of it from U.S. operations — and paid no federal taxes, The New York Times reports today. According to the Times, G.E.’s “extraordinary success is based on an aggressive strategy that mixes fierce lobbying for tax breaks and innovative accounting that enables it to concentrate its profits offshore.” For their part, G.E. officials “say that these measures are necessary for G.E. to compete against global rivals,”
REALLY G.E.? Who are your rivals… the American people? REALLY?
Lastly,
The federal government on Thursday approved Chevron Corp. for the first permit for completely new exploration in the Gulf of Mexico, saying the oil company had satisfied requirements to show that it could contain a subsea blowout. The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation and Enforcement issued a revised permit to drill in 6,750 feet of water 216 miles south of Lafayette, La.
REALLY, U.S. Government? How much money did the last spill cost the American people? Not mention the wildife? REALLY Chevron? Will I be purchasing my next tank of gas from you? NO.
